Baby, It's Cold Outside!
Since the beginning of the year, I've pretty much been stuck inside (which, considering the weather isn't a horrible sentence) with an infant who is now on her second course of antibiotics for an ear infection. I'm trying to remember what outside looks like. It's helpful to have photos like this one I took last spring.
I'm looking forward to weather that will allow me to take our baby girl for a walk outside. It's just as well the weather is too cold today anyhow as we're glued to the television, rooting for an upset by the Chargers.

Hey Elle,
Do you have plans on joining the CSPP?
...and we are sitting under that same gray cloud of disappointment...
...there's always next year...
A friend of mine showed me this blog and I've loved your insights :) I have a 24 mo old and am pregnant again, so its fun remembering the infant days. Also, did you know breastmilk can cure those ear infections? Just put some in each ear, wait two hours and put some warm olive oil with garlic in it (strain out the pieces first). Two hrs later, back to the breastmilk. The infection will be gone in three days :)
Thank you, Melanie. Congratulations on your second pregnancy! How exciting! I imagine the change from one child to two is a bigger change than none to one!
I did not know that about breastmilk, but I did know it has antibiotic properties, so it's not terribly surprising.
Dan, thanks for that link - I really enjoyed reading that blog!
Elle-
Here's the link to the article where I learned about all the things breastmilk can do, enjoy!
